Writing

In recent decades, there have been a number of problems in big cities, which city dwellers have to cope with on a daily basis. Although these problems, such as family expenditure and environmental pollution, are identified by authorities, the governments should take more action to persuade people to settle down in smaller regional towns.

The cost of living and environmental issues are two problems that have been received a great deal of concern from residents of big cities. First, in order to have a better life, especially getting a well-paid job, people want to migrate to the large metropolises. This means that inhabitants of those cities have to payer higher prices for housing, transport, and food due to the limited resources of facilities, public space, and food, which put those people under the pressure of earning more than they could. Second, if most people lived in major cities, the streets and public transport systems would be easily overcrowded with exhaust fumes from vehicles, which one of the major causes lead to environmental pollution. Since inhabitants often get exposed to harmful air quality, they might suffer from diseases, which affect those people’s life quality.

The governments should hearten up people migrate to less-developed economic regions because of a number of benefits. First, if more people move to rural areas, they will be a labor force to contribute to the development of regional areas. In fact, by having enough basic resources and facilities, local people do not have the motivation to the metropolises, which could lessen greatly this issue. In addition, since there are more developed economic regions, local people could choose to study and develop their careers at home rather than migrating to big cities. Because the ultimate goal of the governments is the prosperity and well-being of citizens, encouraging people to smaller economic regions could solve completely this problem.
In conclusion, the fact that more people choosing big cities is one of the major challenges governments are facing nowadays. However, governments could certainly implement a range of measures to solve these problems efficiently.
